A little about my private life:
I have been married twice and have 3 lovely grown up sons. I have always lived in or close to Copenhagen, and right now I live in a large apartment in the new part of Copenhagen with the interesting canals. I love animals and have 2 cats. In the past I also had my dog. But I also love the more exotic animals.
To travel is to live, as my countryman H. C. Andersen wrote and I agree with him. I love to travel and have travelled all over Europe and Egypt and have driven many, many thousands of miles around the USA and Canada.
In addition to writing books and articles and short stories, I am also creative and love to draw and paint and over the years have produced quite a few pictures that adorn the walls of both my home and others.
A few things about my professionel life:
I’ve had my own company almost all my adult life and Copenhagen Cream, which sells skincare products that people can mix themselves with essential oils to get their own unique cream or oil, has so far been where I’ve made my money.
When I was young, I also walked catwalks with clothes of my own design.
And before I had kids I had a wholesale business selling clothes of my own design.
A little about my writing:
It is more than 25 years since I wrote my first book (a detective story) which was published and selling pretty good in Denmark. I wrote it while my youngest son was sleeping for dinner.
Since then I have written 7 books, all published in Denmark. They are in different genres. A couple of crime novels, a children’s book, a couple about self-help and a couple of women’s fiction.
I have also written a play and several short stories that have been published in Danish magazines.
In addition, I have several exciting new projects in the works. The River Of Life, for which I am currently seeking an agent, as I dream of publishing internationally.
Laura’s Life – The Circle, is almost finished. It is the first volume in a series of 3 about the girl Laura and her exciting life. Later this year there will also be a book about quotes and how to use them in your own life.
I love to write and work quickly and with concentration and 2023 will be the year I finish a lot of different projects I’ve started! But I dream of making a full-time living writing books, and I’m well on my way to achieving that goal and expect to be making a living from it as early as the end of 2023.
